My dad bought her in 1980 and when he passed away in '81 I took her over. Camper conversion was by Trakka before we had her. Lots of happy memories and trips including grape harvesting , Great Ocean Road, as my home in Melbourne for a month , up and down the coast etc etc . 1970 model

Hello, I have had my '74 Bay now (Eli) for 5 years, but have only had it on the road since the start of April 2010! It's such a great drive, love it! I also bought a '72 Superbeetle (Herman) in October 2010. A fun drive, but a lot different to a Kombi!

We just bought this great T3 with plans for weekends away and holidays. A beautifully straight body with no rust. (Well did have - 'bruised her against a Territory at Swan Hill Bus Stop) I LOVE my Road Runner and have had great time with her.

After travelling and living in previous 3 Kombis many years ago in the early '80's, I decided I wanted another Kombi in my life. I bought one rather hastily which wasn't the right one - so I sold her and bought a 1974 Bay with a 2L engine. This was a good clean original Kombi and we had a lot of fun together. I have now bought a 1958 15 Window Deluxe and imported it from the USA. This is my first Splitty and hopefully a keeper, although my Dad had a Split when I was a little kid...

Hey fellow Kombiclubbers, Bought the kombi because I love volksies and there is so much space. camping, travelling its all good. Besides, it breaks my heart to see them at the wreckers. Sej is a midnight blue 74' baywindow panel van, loves downhills, not so keen on the uphills though

Had wanted a Kombi for a few years then finally bought Heidi the week before Christmas. She bravely towed our camping trailer to Byron for Christmas holidays without missing a beat. Heidi is a 77 Deluxe and I am the 3rd owner. I had great plans for modifying a Kombi when I got one but she is so original I think I will just look after her.
