I entered the Toohey's Extra Dry Win a Kombi competition every day for 3 weeks and received a call on 25th March before leaving South Aussie to move to Perth to say I had one him. He has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl and now he is mine. My new life in WA has come with a new man TED and we are going to be best friends forever. TED has flip front split front screens, is fully restored with Leather interior, 22" LCD screen in the door, DVD player, Roof rack & Waeco fridge - He is a real beauty too!

Henrietta and Co.

We have a 1974 Kombi camper named Henrietta, whose name i might add has been handed down from owner to owner since 1974! She has been in the family for about 7 years now and has been the love of our lives. She has just been joined by our new addition 1975 Jurgen Autovilla, yes we brought the one off ebay and drove her back from Coolum to Melbourne via Bourke! And had a ball, she has a 2.2lt fuel injected subaru engine, so we spent most of the journey home laughing, as we could not get over how much power she had and how she handled the road. i'm talking quietly as i do not want Henrietta to hear...I do still love her dearly though.

hello I'm sally (beanz) ivy is our beloved 1972 bay window camper van, she started her life as a panel van but was converted into half panel, and was fitted out to sleep people. the rear hatch was sealed and an interesting job of covering her in filler to create a different shape was done. Although we loved the way she looked it wasn't the best job done by her previous owners so we are going to eventually open the rear hatch and put it back to how it was before. she will be painted a new colour too as we cannot match her unique matt colour.

Just bought my first Kombi, 1975 dual cab. I searched for 18 months and finally found one in Melbourne. My brother in law and I drove a 21 hour round trip to pick her up. Needs a little more work then I expected. My three year old daughter thinks its the best thing in the world and it doesn't even drive yet......
