Lovin it

My first Kombi Camper. She is a white 1974 bay window, 1800cc with pop top. Fresh paint job new tires, and a sweet as Black and white VW tire cover :-) 3 way fridge and stove inside.. Rescently put a Amplifier with 4 6x9's stereo.. Newly canvassed pop top. Also put in electronic ignition system, now she starts like a dream..my first manual car. It has one speed, Kombi Speed.. If your in a hurry you betta overtake me, coz im travelling at kombi speed and nothing and no one is going to make me go faster..! Many roads to be rambled.. Many vistas to be uncovered..

Our Gwenevere Queen! 73 poptop. we are the 2nd custodians of 1600cc of raw power! Lawso21 found her parked in the burbs neglected. We found the owner who bought her in London toured Europe eventually importing back to OZ. We then convinced her to sell to us HAPPY DAYS! A wash n polish revealed little superficial rust, bolt on a set of mags clean the interior wot a gem! First big trip to Bonny Hills went like a dream up and back . we are now starting our reno. First up the under carriage bitumen sound proofing / rust prevention then the interior!

ok , i have finally joined the kombi club, this is my 71 bay originally from parkes. its been on the 10 year plan , thats what i tell the minister for war and finance anyway ( 4 years so far ) i hope to have it finished in the new year.located on the central coast nsw . i will post some updated pics when shes on the road. it has since been lowered with new twin carbs and lots of other goodies. im expecting to cop it so mark ,chuck, vwmad & brendon i finally made it to the kombi club
